Fabral Metal Wall and Roof Systems, a supplier of corrugated steel panels, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City in response to heightened demand. Encompassing 60,000 square feet, the new location will provide more space as well as easier access to its customer base and a deeper labor pool.
The new operation is the company’s eighth facility in the U.S. and will produce Fabral’s post-frame product lines, including a variety of panels, as well as accessories such as flashing and trim.
“We are thrilled to be relocating to Salt Lake City, as the area will not only provide us greater access to a diverse workforce but will greatly improve our ability to service our customers and partners,” said Brian Below, CEO of Fabral Metal Wall and Roof Systems. “It’s part of our continued investment to improve safety for our employees, modernize our manufacturing processes, and ensure our products are being built to the highest quality standards.”
The new facility will replace an existing structure in Cedar City, Utah, and will increase production space and support greater output. The company plans to add 15 new positions at the Salt Lake City site.
“The move allows us to tap into a larger pool of talent and skilled labor here in Salt Lake,” said Joe Peters, Director of Operations for Fabral. “It also reinforces Fabral’s commitment to safety and providing a first-class working environment that supports employee health, wellness, and increased productivity.”
Established in 1967, Fabral Wall and Roof Systems is a longstanding corrugated steel panel supplier, and has been an integral part of major building projects in the United States.
