Bobcat Company announced plans to establish a new assembly plant in Rogers, Minnesota. The new, 225,000 square-foot facility will employ 100 and expand the company's production capacity while furthering its stronghold in the Midwest.
The new facility is expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2022.
“This investment further demonstrates our commitment to our presence in Minnesota, while supporting the growth we are experiencing in the marketplace,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “We are dedicated to continuing to expand our capabilities and equipment product lines to empower our customers, and this new location will be an important part of this success.”
Bobcat, a leading manufacturer of compact equipment headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, continues to see its manufacturing footprint grow in Minnesota. In addition to the Rogers facility, the company completed a $26 million expansion at its facility in Litchfield, Minnesota, hiring 200 new employees and adding 140,000 square feet of manufacturing space. In addition, the company completed a $70 million expansion of its Statesville, North Carolina facility last year.
